Official Biography:
Asylum XIII was formed in late 2008 by former Heaven Falls Hard and Mpiredwn member Daemon. Originally a "vanity project" never intended to see the light of day, he set to writing music. Interweaving goth and punk he created a sound very reminiscent of the deathrock bands of the 80's. Within a year or so, one Asylum song, "Narcissus" began getting airplay in New York while another, "Excommunication" appeared in a live form on the Shinto Records "Lunar Sea" compilation. The debut album is set for a late 2012/early 2013 self-release.
Live Asylum XIII has shared the stage with the likes of Mary Magdalan, The Genitorturers, Cynergy 67, Deadstar Assembly and more. They also were one of the bands to appear at the first annual Age of Decay festival in Jacksonville, FL with Sapphire Rebellion, Ex-Voto, Strap On Halo, and Lestat as well as DJs Augustine Strange and Nightshade.
